Context Switching

Context switching is moving between tasks, tools, or conversations — and it's expensive. Each switch leaves attention residue: part of your focus stays stuck on the previous task, so the next one starts slower and sloppier.

A flooded inbox is a context-switching machine. Reducing the number of times you're pulled into email — by letting AI triage and draft — protects the sustained attention real work needs.
